² HxGN will support the utilization of Smart PID Version 2019 in conjunction with Oracle 19c DB and Client for your ongoing project work. Preliminary testing done to date hasn’t found anything cautionary but as dependent software continues to grow and change there is an increased risk with this configuration. HxGN may need more time to check and resolve issues but will make every effort possible to provide customers with mutually agreed critical fixes as long as it is technically viable. If the issue is specific to Oracle 19c then we would not fix it and the customer would need to upgrade to SPID 10 or later. Smart PID versions 10 and 11 are fully tested and certified with Oracle 19c.
