Notes

  • 2 Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) mode is not supported with Citrix XenDesktop 7.0
  • 3 Microsoft Office 2016 (32-bit) is supported and certified.
  • 4 Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus (32-bit) (now renamed Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise) is supported and certified. This is the on-premise installed version. The Cloud-based version is not included.
  • 5 S3D 2016 Hotfix 12 adds compatibility for Windows Server 2016, MS SQL 2016 and Citrix XenApp 7.11. The updated Installation Guide can be found on SmartSupport.
  • 6 For an Oracle database implementation, the Oracle database server may be deployed on any Oracle-supported platform, provided that the Oracle client prerequisites are met on the Smart 3D database server.
  • 7 At the time of release, support of Oracle 12.1.0.2 DB on Windows Server 2016 had not been confirmed by Oracle.
  • 8 Linux servers cannot be used for Global Workshare.
  • 10 S3D 2016 HF 83 adds compatibility for MicroStation Connect Edition (CE). The updated Installation Guide can be found on SmartCommunity.
